I bought a Steve Campbell guitar in January of 2007. Granted I haven’t owned a ton of guitars, but I have played with quite a few. I personally think this is one of the finest guitars in appearance and tone that I have ever seen.
Everywhere I take it, other musicians are amazed at the really rich, but deep tones, fine craftsmanship, inlays, and detailed looks when they have a chance to play it. Even if they have other name brand guitars like Martin, Taylor, Gibson, Carvin and Breedlove, my guitar always seems to outshine theirs. The only time this isn’t true is when I’m playing with someone else who has a Steve Campbell guitar. I have played many of his guitars and each and everyone is unique, but they all are equally amazing in their own way.

I have purchased multiple custom made instruments from Steve Campbell.
First I had the pleasure of purchasing his number 4 concert sized guitar (cocobolo with a spruce top). I was pleasantly surprised by the terrific bass response and the volume of this guitar. The workmanship of all aspects of the construction are flawless, and care is given to the smallest detail.
Second, I liked my guitar so much that I bought his number 11 guitar, also concert sized, for my son on his 21st birthday. Again, Steve was very helpful in selecting the wood for the guitar. He listened to how and what my son played and produced a guitar that was just right for him. My son really likes his 21st birthday present.
